Nigeria Afrobeats singer Wizkid has angered his countrymen after it was proven he did not vote.

Wizkid was spotted at a recent event in the company of other prominent Ghanaian singers including King Promise, Efya, Gyakie, R2Bees and Darkovibes.

Several people have taken to the internet to criticize Wizkid after seeing a video of him in a jam session during Killbeatz’s mother’s burial, in Ghana whiles the election was ongoing.

Killbeatz, a multi-award-winning Ghanaian music producer and artiste manager. He serves as CEO of Legacy Life Entertainment and is now responsible for the management of King Promise, a prominent Afrobeats and Highlife performer.

Killbeatz was bereaved of the loss of his mother on February 17th, 2023. At Tema, Site 15, Killbeatz performed the funeral rites for his late mother, Agnes Addison.

The  famous musicians decided to start a jama session at the funeral as a way to express their support for their good friend by taking over the African drumming instruments and bringing some energy to the event.
