Popular comedian, Freedom Atsepoyi, better known as Mr Jollof has ended up in the hospital after a suspected food poisoning which occurred at the club.
The performance promoter admitted that he purchased a fake drink while out clubbing, which set off his medical condition. Jollof said that he suffers from an ulcer and that the bogus drink caused him to incur healthcare expenses totalling over N400k in the viral video. Slamming the bar where he had the drink, Mr Jollof said that once he has fully recovered, he plans to start looking for and exposing bars and clubs that sell fake drinks. He stated:
They make 100% profit and still sell what will k**l their customers. Tomorrow they will blame government when their soul is darker than satan. If I notice fake drink in your club/lounge, I will report to the appropriate authority and I will see that your club is shut down for life. Selling fake Liquor is evil !!! Lounge / club owners I’m out for you people make I well first.
In other news Tru News Report culled from Nigeria, Shaffy Bello has explained why her 25-year marriage ended. while speaking with media personality Chude in a fresh interview.
Shaffy revealed that her ex-husband was situated in the US and that she did not feel comfortable with their long-distance relationship.
According to her, although Mr Akinrimisi, her ex-husband, was a good father, their long-distance relationship led to their divorce. The mother of two claimed that although she would frequently fly back and forth to see him, she eventually realized that she wanted more from the relationship.
Shaffy said: “He [my ex-husband] was a good father to his children. But I got to a place where I wanted more. And I would always travel back and forth.
But I knew at a point that if I really want this, it came with a sacrifice. It wasn’t a sacrifice of marriage, but then he being there [USA] and the distance didn’t help.”
