Nigerian singer Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, known worldwide as Mr Eazi, has thrilled fans with news of his highly anticipated fourth studio album.

This upcoming release marks a unique collaboration with Mugeez, one-half of Ghana’s iconic hiplife duo, R2Bees, sparking excitement across both Nigerian and Ghanaian music scenes.

This joint venture between Mr Eazi and Mugeez brings together two powerhouse acts who have each helped shape the sounds of Afrobeats and hiplife over the past decade.

Mr Eazi, a pioneer of the “Banku music” sound, rose to fame with hits like Leg Over and Skin Tight, blending Afrobeats with Ghanaian highlife rhythms.

His genre-bending approach has earned him a place among the most innovative artists in Afrobeats, influencing a new wave of cross-cultural collaborations across West Africa and beyond.

Meanwhile, Mugeez, along with his cousin Paedae, has been at the heart of Ghana’s music scene as part of R2Bees. Known for timeless hits like Slow Down and Kiss Your Hand, R2Bees has consistently delivered a unique mix of Afrobeats, hiplife, and highlife.

Their versatility and deep-rooted Ghanaian sound have garnered a dedicated following and established them as legends in West African music.

As these two musical giants come together, the project promises to be a groundbreaking fusion of Mr Eazi’s experimental style and Mugeez’s melodic hiplife influences.

Among the collaborators is Ghanaian sensation DJay, whose viral hits like Balance have already captured the attention of fans across the region.

Mr Eazi announced that his collaboration with DJay would drop at midnight on October 31, raising anticipation for this genre-blending project.
