Veteran Ghanaian actress and television presenter Nana Ama McBrown has finally addressed the widely circulated video of her close interaction with artiste manager Bullgod during an interview on Fakye TV.
The video, which shows Bullgod seemingly leaning in to kiss her, sparked mixed reactions online, leaving fans and critics eager for her response.
Reflecting on the moment, McBrown shared her perspective with candid humour and grace. “I wasn’t expecting that. Was he really going to kiss me like that?” she recounted, explaining how she hadn’t even noticed when Bullgod moved closer. For her, the moment was more about playful excitement than any inappropriate intent.

“He was just excited to see me, and we hadn’t seen each other in a while,” she explained. “Although I was shocked, I won’t fault him. Bullgod is the type who likes to joke around, and I believe the kiss attempt was harmless.”
When pressed on how she would have reacted if their lips had accidentally met, McBrown chuckled and said, “If he had kissed me, I would’ve quickly pulled back and said, ‘Ah!’ But I wouldn’t get mad at him.
Even though it’s not allowed, it would’ve happened already, and at that moment, there was nothing I could do about it. Maybe later, I would have pleaded with him not to do that again.”
The viral clip sparked debates about boundaries in professional relationships, but McBrown was quick to set the record straight. She emphasized that their dynamic is built on mutual respect and platonic camaraderie.
“We don’t have anything sexual going on. He likes to play. I don’t see anything wrong with it, but society will talk about these things.
Bullgod is someone who respects me a lot. I don’t know if I’m older than him or if he’s older than me, but he treats me like a goddess.”
For McBrown, navigating Bullgod’s strong personality is key to their working relationship. “He is someone that if you understand him, you can get along with him, but if you don’t, you’ll argue with him every day because he’s a hard nut to crack.”
The actress also used the opportunity to share insights into her professional code of conduct. “I’m like a sister to all men.

“I used to play soccer, so I associated with men more than women,” she revealed. “I don’t sleep with people I work with because the moment sex enters the equation, the working relationship ends.”
McBrown candidly acknowledged having dated someone in the entertainment industry in the past, noting how such relationships can be challenging.
“If we weren’t strong enough to rebuild after the breakup, it could have broken one of us,” she admitted, highlighting her commitment to maintaining professionalism in her work life.
