Presently trending online is a video of Nana Akufo Addo expressing surprise at the manner some plus-sized women seized control of an event by shaking their huge backsides to entertain the crowd.

The video went viral after Metropolitan Television (Metro TV) shared it on its Twitter account. The President was reportedly present at an event held by the Ghanaian Armed Forces along with other dignitaries when he was captured on camera expressing amazement at the women’s dance abilities.

The women can be seen entertaining the crowd by dancing while dressed in body-hugging leggings that highlight their gorgeous bodies. An interjection of ‘eeii’ jumped out of the president’s mouth while watching the show.

The video has resonated with internet folks and they have derived humour from it.

In a related development, Medikal caused a wave of fury online for suggesting that Nana Akufo-Addo is doing his best to govern the country and that the prevailing hardship is beyond his control.

Medikal asserts that he is reluctant to criticize or pass judgment on President Akufo-Addo because he is probably doing his best but external factors have compromised his good intention, adding that a good father like him won’t take delight in his children’s suffering.

In a recent interview with Abeiku Santana, the rapper and musician stated that while he shares some of the effects of the current economic crisis, he would not be hasty to blame everything on the government.

“I share the difficulties this nation has, but I don’t think the president is satisfied with the way things are going. I believe he can do better, but perhaps he is making every effort to resolve the situation, even if it is not going to be simple for him.”
