Mzbel has confirmed that she is in a committed relationship with a man, which she considers akin to marriage.

She proudly displayed a costly ring given to her by the unnamed man, explaining that he gifted it to her as a token of happiness for having a child together, who will bear his surname. She emphasized that she has no plans of getting married herself.

“The man I’m with gave it to me, and it’s expensive. He gave it to me because he was happy I had a baby for him and his surname will be given to his child. As for me, I won’t marry, she told Fiifi Praat on Kingdom FM.

Speaking further on why marriage is not a thing for her, the musician cum radio personality Mzbel mentioned her preference for dating and having children rather than being in a committed relationship with a man.

Additionally, she highlighted the freedom of being single and engaging in activities that bring her happiness without any restrictions as the main reasons why she believes marriage is not the right path for her.

To her, having a man and making babies are her top priorities, a disclosure that has added a new complexion to entertainment news in Ghana.

“I don’t have the time for that drama. I can’t stay with a man in a house so I want you to stay where you are for me to also stay where I am. With this, there is always a new date,” she said.

She continued, “If you like me and want us to be together, don’t think of marriage. Let’s keep the relationship, but we should not announce to the world that we are together.

“I don’t like the fact that people will see my husband in the club and someone who is married, What are you doing in the club? or people meeting me and questioning what I’m wearing.”
