My Wife and I Never Quarreled Over the Allegations – Prof. Gyampo

Professor Ransford Gyampo has revealed that his wife was never in doubt about his innocence in the ‘Sex for Grades’ scandal, as she was fully aware of everything from the start.

He dismissed rumours that the allegations strained his marriage in an interview on 3FM with Blakk Rasta.

“It was not challenging at all because everything that was happening, she knew. I showed everything to her. We never quarreled about it,” he stated

According to him, the entire exposé was an orchestrated plot that took months to unfold. “It was not something that just happened.

“It was a long story, a plot that unfolded over three months. I survived all those months until I extended some magnanimity to someone, and they twisted things,” he explained.

The political scientist further claimed that the allegations were built on misleading narratives.

“Whatever you heard or watched was just voice-over narration. Someone was talking about something I had no idea about. Even the things I supposedly said were quoted out of context,” he added.

Professor Gyampo maintained that despite the allegations, his students continued to support him, and he remains dedicated to them. “I love my students, and they love me,” he said, recounting an emotional moment when his class erupted into applause, expressing solidarity with him.
