In a recent update regarding Drogba’s health, the YOLO star has mentioned that his ailment is very complicated, struggling to find the right words to convey it to his followers on social media.
Providing an insight into his current situation, Drogba, whose real name is John Bredu Peasah, popularly known expressed gratitude towards his supporters, explaining his absence in sharing updates due to the intense pain he has been experiencing.
He mentioned difficulties with speech and breathing, highlighting the challenges he faces daily.
“I am sorry I have not actually updated you concerning what is wrong with me, but the whole problem. As for the hospital I go to, it got to a point where the Doctors were not comfortable with me taking pictures, so that’s the reason I don’t update,” he said.
Also detailing his struggles, he continued, “To be honest to you, the thing is very complicated, and I can’t explain how I feel. At times, my speech becomes a problem; it’s off. Today, I can say it better; that’s the reason I am trying to record fast.”
“As for the pain in my back, it’s still there; I take drugs to reduce the pain. I also do slight exercises to ease the pain because when I do intensive exercise, it triggers something. It affects my neck to be shaking or my hand,” Drogba said in an Instagram video has since been deleted.
This comes days after GhanaStreetJournal reported the once vibrant fast-rising actor had revealed that his medical team has advised him to seek treatment overseas for his -demyelinating disease.
The ailing actor took to Instagram on March 8, 2024, to thank everyone for their incredible support following his diagnosis.
Drogba also encouraged his fans to continue supporting him and promised to keep them updated on his treatment progress.
In March this year, it emerged that Drogba been diagnosed with demyelinating diseases.
This distressing information was brought to light by skit maker and actor Jefferey Nortey, who further emphasized the urgent need for financial assistance to facilitate Drogba’s crucial treatment.
