In an interview with Graphic Showbiz, Jennifer Christodia Kudiabor, a student at the University of Professional Studies (UPSA), revealed that her infatuation with Ghanaian artiste Kwabena Kwabena led to the collapse of her previous relationship.
In the words of Jennifer, her unwavering admiration and obsession for Kwabena Kwabena became a source of conflict in her relationship, ultimately causing her boyfriend to end things. She revealed that her room is adorned with a picture frame of the artiste, his image serves as her phone wallpaper, and she frequently shares his pictures on her social media platforms.
According to her, every morning, she shares Kwabena Kwabena’s popular song, Bue Kwan on her social media pages and WhatsApp status, considering it her favourite gospel song that provides her with daily motivation.
To this end, she said her boyfriend felt neglected and overshadowed in a relationship where he wasn’t loved and adored as much as another partner whom Jennifer had never even met. As a result, he decided to end their relationship.
Reflecting on the situation, Jennifer said, “My boyfriend broke up with me because of the love I have for Kwabena Kwabena. I have his picture frame in my room, I have his picture as my wallpaper, and I even know everything about him.
It’s more like he’s family to me because he has a special place in my heart. My admiration for him was so intense that my boyfriend got fed up and broke up with me.
“My family is equally worried about it. They think it’s not normal but I just love him. In my eyes, he can do no wrong so anytime I read some bad news about him, I just brush it aside.
I just love Kwabena Kwabena and I don’t know how I can control myself seeing him perform live in my presence. The mention of his name just gets me emotional,” she said.
Jennifer, a recipient of the Graphic Showbiz Sing a Song competition, had the incredible opportunity to attend the Vitamilk Love Night at the Grand Arena.
This event which took place on Valentine’s Day, featured renowned artistes Kwabena Kwabena and Becca as the headline performers.
