The music producer responsible for Kuame Eugene’s latest hit, Canopy, has publicly called out Kwame Yogot in the ongoing dispute between Yogot and Eugene regarding ownership of the song.
In a video reviewed by Tru News Report, the producer, whose name we could not verify, accused Kwame Yogot of being dishonest by allowing bloggers to tarnish Kuame Eugene’s well-deserved reputation.
According to the producer, Yogot falsely claimed ownership of the song, despite only being featured on it and having no involvement in its creation.
The producer emphasized that Kuame Eugene is the creative force behind the song, and had initially planned to feature both Yogot and Lasmid.
However, Eugene ultimately decided to exclude Yogot’s verse from the final version of the song, leading to Yogot’s frustration.
The producer warned Yogot to apologize for his misleading claims, or face potential legal action from Eugene for spreading false information.
Tru News Report earlier mentioned that Kuame Eugene was accused by a content creator on social media of stealing a song originally by Kwame Yogot.
The publication said the duo was scheduled to release a potential banger but that was delayed when the Rockstar had an accident.
Following the tragic accident, Eugene allegedly went ahead to release the new song from his hospital bed at the University of Ghana Medical Centre, where he is currently receiving treatment.
The content creator said Kwame Yogot’s verse was never included in the final song and to make matters worse, Eugene created a different version of the song and passed it off as his own.
