Ghanaian musician and entertainment critic, Emmanuel Barnes, also known as Christopher Nelson or Mr Logic has found himself in trouble for threatening Monica Spence aka Monique, the Canada-based woman he allegedly defrauded.
“If you talk like this, I’ll murder you,” Mr Logic issued the threat during the conversation as sighted in a fresh video the lady has uploaded on social media.
The threats intensified when she confronted him about the unresolved financial issues.
She further alleged, “He told me I shouldn’t step foot in Ghana if I continued to speak out. He even threatened my mother, telling her he was coming for my life.”

Monique disclosed that she recorded the phone call, intending to use the evidence against him in court.
“I told him I was recording the conversation, and he didn’t stop. I’ve gathered recordings and screenshots of his threats, which I plan to present to the authorities,” she added.
These revelations follow months after Mr Logic appeared before the Dansoman Circuit Court on charges of defrauding Monique of substantial amounts under the pretence of securing residency permits in 2024.
He pleaded not guilty and was granted bail, but Monique alleges that the intimidation has not ceased since then.
