Some of your artistes go to their friends to borrow stuff from them and show off online,” Keche Joshua stated, shedding light on the lengths some artists go to maintain a certain image.
Keche Joshua’s comments come amidst growing concerns about authenticity in the music industry. The duo has been vocal about the challenges they face, including issues with collaboration and promotion.
Recently, they expressed frustration over fellow artist King Paluta’s lack of promotion for their collaborative single, “My Father.”
Despite a split sheet agreement that allowed Paluta to earn a percentage from every stream, Keche Joshua revealed that Paluta did not make any efforts to promote the track on his own platforms.
Keche Joshua emphasized the importance of genuine representation and transparency in the industry. “We agreed on a contract where he benefits, but he’s not pulling his weight. It doesn’t sit well with us,” he said, highlighting the need for mutual support and fair promotion among artists.
