Michy has spoken out about her altercation with Medial, saying that she does not feel any remorse for what she did.
On Saturday, April 30, 2023, blogger GH Kwaku celebrated his birthday with guests including Michy and Medikal, a close friend of Shatta Wale’s. Michy confronted Medikal about what she perceived to be a ‘false allegation’ he had made in a radio interview when they happened to cross paths.
The rapper had an interview on LUV FM, where he mentioned that his friend Shatta Wale has paid for his newly enrolled daughter Island’s school fees for a year.
According to Michy, Medikal said that Shatta Wale was paying a full year’s fees, and she was curious as to which account Shatta Wale had sent his money to. Medikal chimed in to clarify that he was talking about school fees for his daughter, Island Frimpong.
When asked if she had any regrets about confronting Medikal, Michy said, “I don’t, I really don’t. Why do you call it an attack, I gave him accolades beyond control. The F word I used… but he also said things to me.”
Michy, whose real name is Diamond Michelle Bagonah explained how, at first she had admired Medikal but later found his comments about her son and their family offensive.
Speaking to Adom TV, she said, “This issue is delicate; I haven’t spoken about it. With baby daddy involved, I understand and know who he is as a person. Character, personality, and mindset: I understand that you, however, have no right whatsoever to talk about your child. No one has asked you anything. It’s a delicate matter. You understand. It’s deeper than that. I know the suffering i go through.”
