Nigerian filmmaker and actor Ugezu J. Ugezu has shared his thoughts on the ongoing controversy involving Burna Boy and socialite Sophie Egbueje, condemning what he describes as a growing lack of integrity among men.
“The ways of our fathers were more sacred than the aberrant sacrilege we celebrate today. Men who are men do not betray women who have trusted them with their nakedness.
“It is rampant today for too many entities parading themselves as men are not men at all,” Ugezu stated while addressing the issue.

The controversy erupted after a leaked audio recording surfaced online, in which Sophie Egbueje was heard confiding in a friend about Burna Boy allegedly failing to fulfill a promise to buy her a Lamborghini after they were intimate.
“The revelation has since ignited widespread discussions, with many questioning the singer’s actions.
Following the viral spread of the audio, several public figures, including Ugezu, have expressed their views on the matter.
