Megan Fox has told her fans that she has body dysmorphia and she thinks people don’t see her the way she sees herself.
The 37-year-old actress has discussed her struggles with body image and acknowledged that she doesn’t perceive herself as most people do. Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue was informed by her.
“I have body dysmorphia. I don’t ever see myself really the way other people see me. There is never a point in my life where I loved my body. Never, ever.”
Fox said it’s a “never-ending” journey for her to embrace herself as beautiful, something she’s always struggled with.
She added: “When I was little, that was like an obsession I had, that I should look THIS way. And why I had an awareness of my body that young, I’m not sure… The journey of loving myself is going to be never-ending, I think.”
Megan also explained that she would like people to notice her “aura” when they first meet her, rather than focusing on her physical appearance.
She said: “I wished everyone noticed my aura, because I have a rainbow aura, and it’s special.”
What is Dysmorphia?
Dysmorphia is a mental condition marked by intense attention to a perceived beauty fault. The fault might be insignificant or unreal. However, the person might work on it for hours every day.
The individual can work out excessively or undergo several aesthetic operations. People who have this condition might frequently look in the mirror to check how they seem, continuously compare how they look to others, and avoid social situations and images. Antidepressant drugs and counselling are possible forms of treatment.
Are Megan Fox and Eminem dating?

Prior to deactivating her profile, Fox erased all of Kelly’s pictures from the platform and unfollowed everyone else with the exception of Eminem, Harry Styles, and Timothée Chalamet. “You can taste the dishonesty/It’s all over your breath,” Fox wrote in her cryptic IG caption back in February 2023.
