Medikal has announced on X that he has officially split from AMG Business, a famous clique and supposedly record label reportedly owned by Criss Waddle.
He made it clear that any association between him and AMG would not be tolerated, threatening to slap anyone who does so.
Medikal did not disclose specific details regarding the reasons behind his departure from AMG, but we hope in due time that clarity will eventually be provided. He posted:
I’m no longer a member of AMG. If you see me wey you talk AMG I go fi slap you ! #BeyondKontrol“.
Contrary to the popular belief that Criss Waddle was the founder of the group, a former member of AMG Sweenity disclosed that Medikal was the mastermind behind the Criss Waddle-led group.
He emphasized that Medikal, not Criss Waddle, was the true brain behind AMG.
However, during a phone interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM’s Showbiz Agenda, Criss Waddle refuted Sweenity’s claims and asserted that Medikal was the reason for the formation of AMG due to his exceptional talent.
Sweenity, who bore a striking resemblance to Medikal in terms of voice, mannerisms, and style, expressed gratitude for his time with AMG despite his departure from the group.
He mentioned that he had formed his own group, No Trespass Gang, after leaving AMG.
Sweenity also acknowledged that although some of his songs were mistakenly credited to Medikal in the past due to his lower profile in the music industry, he was pleased to see his work gaining recognition.
“It is somehow like a blessing for someone to even hear my song and think of me as sounding similar to Medikal,” he said.
