Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors are officially engaged, marking a new chapter in their relationship.
The couple shared the news on November 17 during their appearance at the EBONY Power 100 Gala in Los Angeles, where Good showcased her dazzling diamond ring.
For the duo, the event held special significance, as it was the place where their story began.
“We actually met here, in the unisex bathroom, two years ago,” Good revealed to E! News correspondent Francesca Amiker on the red carpet. “It’s incredible to come full circle at the same event.”
Good, known for her roles in Think Like a Man and Harlem, and Majors, the breakout star of Lovecraft Country and Creed III, began dating in May 2023.

Despite maintaining his innocence, Majors was found guilty of misdemeanour assault and harassment in December completed a 52-week counselling program and paid a fine in April, according to NBC News.
Through it all, Good stood unwaveringly by Majors’ side, accompanying him to several court appearances in New York City. Her support was a testament to the strength of their relationship and her belief in his character.
This is not Good’s first experience with a high-profile romance. Previously married to producer and motivational speaker DeVon Franklin for nearly a decade, she has often been candid about her views on love, resilience, and personal growth.
Her relationship with Majors, however, marks a fresh start.
In a March interview, Good was effusive about Majors, calling him “the one” and sharing her admiration for his unique flair. “I love his style,” she said. “I just love how he puts it together.”
