Media personality DJ Slim has called out MC Portfolio for failing to stand up for his colleague, Andy Dosty, during an on-air confrontation with Shatta Wale.
Speaking on his program Street Is Watching, DJ Slim criticized MC Portfolio’s perceived silence, describing it as a betrayal of loyalty to someone who has significantly contributed to his career.”
“Portfolio was there when Shatta disrespected Andy Dosty on air, telling him he was old school and should forget about him,” DJ Slim began. “Andy has opened a lot of doors for you, and you didn’t stand up for him.
Now, how will people who work with Andy view you?”
The incident in question occurred during a live radio session where Shatta Wale, known for his outspoken nature, reportedly dismissed Andy Dosty as “old school” and irrelevant to his career trajectory.
Andy, a veteran broadcaster and influential figure at Multimedia, has been instrumental in shaping Ghana’s entertainment industry, mentoring many young talents, including MC Portfolio.
Slim did not hold back in his critique, questioning how Portfolio’s actions—or lack thereof—might impact his professional relationships. “When you’re in Accra, Multimedia is your home.
“Now you’ve done this, will you still be able to go there?” he asked rhetorically, emphasizing the potential repercussions of Portfolio’s silence after he made peace with Shatta Wale and accepted a GHC 5,000 cash gift from him during their recent encounter on Fakye TV.
