Nollywood actress Iniobong Edo, professionally known as Ini Edo has revealed that marriage is no longer a priority in her life, a statement that marks a significant shift in her personal outlook.
Speaking to PREMIUM TIMES in Lagos, the 42-year-old actress shared her current mindset, indicating that she is not actively praying or hoping for marriage at this stage of her life.
This revelation follows a wave of speculation sparked by a social media post in September, where Iniobong shared a photo of herself in a traditional Efik bridal outfit.
The image led many to believe that she was making a wedding announcement, particularly because her caption spoke about love and encouraged people not to lose hope in finding happiness.

Fans were abuzz with excitement, interpreting her post as a sign of impending nuptials. However, it turned out to be a promotional teaser for her upcoming four-part series, My Fairytale Wedding.
The series centers around a young woman who employs magic, known as Kayanmata, to win over Lagos’ most eligible bachelor, offering a delightful mix of fantasy and romance.
When asked whether she still dreams of having her own fairytale wedding someday, she responded with clarity:
“I’m not obsessed with marriage; I’m more focused on having a solid relationship. It’s not something I’m praying for or hoping for.”
