The Lambs, Mariah Carey’s devoted fanbase, are presenting her album with bouquets of flowers. “It’s A Wrap,” a deep cut from her 2009 album “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel,” is the most popular song on TikTok right now, and it has even inspired a viral challenge.

At Carey’s request, the dance challenge was released in mid-January, resulting in a 1000% increase in weekly on-demand streaming in the United States. Like the majority of sounds on the app, the sped-up version of “It’s A Wrap” garnered popularity with fans, who even saw Carey execute her intricate dance to the song. With backing dancers and a sandwich wrap towards the end, this TikTok video has received over 9.5 million views.

The 2009 track is now earning more than 1 million weekly streams following the revival.

By the end of January, a slew of the New York singer’s most devoted admirers had reproduced the dance sequence, and Carey reposted her favorites. “Battery about to die.. just watched hundreds of videos of IT’S A WRAP ON TIKTOK!!! I can’t even know what to say!!!,” Carey tweeted.

According to Luminate, the song received 1.65 million U.S. on-demand streams for the week ending January 26—a considerable increase over its pre-TikTok total. For the week ending December 29, it accumulated 17,000 streams.

“It’s A Wrap” was never published as a single, but its digital rebirth follows Carey’s recent holiday reign with “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”

In May, fans may get the opportunity to witness the Queen of Christmas perform live at the Lovers & Friends Festival.
