Prophet Ebenezer Opambour Adarkwa Yiadom, popularly known as Prophet 1, has stirred public interest with a bold prophecy about the future of Ghana’s political landscape.

Speaking in a video shared by Edhub, the renowned preacher declared that one of President-elect John Dramani Mahama’s sons is destined to lead the nation.

“One of John Dramani Mahama’s sons will become president. God spoke to me and instructed me to tell Ghanaians that He has endorsed one of his children for the presidency,” Prophet 1 proclaimed with unwavering confidence.

He extended an open invitation to the Mahama family, claiming he had been spiritually chosen to guide the realization of this prophecy.

“The child should come to me, and I will ensure the prophecy comes to pass. If all of Mahama’s children are together, I can choose who will be president because I have received this revelation from God,” he added.

This divine revelation has placed a new focus on the Mahama family, particularly the president-elect’s children, who have largely maintained private lives away from the political spotlight.

While John Dramani Mahama’s political journey is well documented—rising from Vice President to President and now reclaiming the presidency after a decisive victory in the 2024 elections—his family’s involvement in politics has been minimal.

Prophet 1’s statement, however, has fueled speculation about whether any of Mahama’s children may someday follow in their father’s footsteps.
