In a moment that marked a new chapter in his political journey, Malik Basintale, Deputy National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has been appointed as the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA).

The announcement followed the resignation of Kofi Baah Agyepong, the outgoing CEO, who stepped down to focus on personal commitments and future aspirations.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter) shortly after the appointment, Basintale expressed heartfelt gratitude to former President John Dramani Mahama for entrusting him with the role.
