Mahama Ayariga selected as the majority leader of Ghana’s 9th parliament

Mahama Ayariga has been appointed as the new Majority Leader and Leader of Government Business in the 9th Parliament of Ghana.

“I am honoured to accept this role,” Ayariga stated, expressing gratitude to His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama and the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for their confidence in him.

“I look forward to serving our nation and representing the interests of our constituents.”

Reflecting on his political journey, Ayariga noted, “I first entered Parliament on 7th January 2005 and have held various positions. This new role is a continuation of my commitment to public service.”
