Ghanaian rapper and record producer Kwame Ametepee Tsikata, known professionally as M.anifest has hinted that his new album is complete but says he has no plans to release it yet.
It’s been two years since his last album, Madina To The Universe (MTTU), came out. However, M.anifest has now admitted that the new one is ready to be released. This information was revealed when the musician was seen in Accra listening to Patoranking’s upcoming ‘World Best’ album.
During a conversation with Becky of JoyNews, M.anifest discussed the reasons behind his decision to keep a low profile despite the growing demand from fans for new songs.
In the course of this chat, he disclosed that a new project was already finished and waiting to come out. “An album is finished. It is ready to come out,” he said.
According to M.anifest, although the project has been completed, he is not in a hurry to release it as he is actively seeking ways to improve it.
“I am not a new artiste anymore. So the requirement of how to make things go on the next level is different, so beyond making the music, which I do all the time, is sort of strategically moving in ways to make it resonate on some level,” he added.
