Medikal’s recent separation from actress Fella Makafui seems to have influenced his perspective on relationships. He believes that love alone is not sufficient to ensure a successful marriage.
During an interview on Starr Chat with Bola Ray, Medikal emphasized the importance of pre-marital counselling and communication with families.
He stated that if love is the only factor considered when bringing two individuals together, without considering compatibility and other aspects, the relationship is likely to fail.
“I want to advise people that I don’t think love is enough before you get married. Love is not enough for two people who want to marry. Marriage is a different thing it’s a different ball game. If you love somebody you don’t be in a hurry to get married to the person.
“You people need counseling, you need families to talk to. Don’t just jump into marriage because you love someone. You might end up making a big mistake. That is my advice to the public,” he added.
Meanwhile, based on recent reports circulating, Fella Makafui reportedly moved out of her marital home amid her ongoing divorce proceedings with rapper Medikal.
A viral photo of a moving truck parked outside their East Legon mansion has been circulating on social media, suggesting that the actress and businesswoman is in the process of relocating to the property she asserts is rightfully hers, not Medikal’s.
This information has been verified by radio host Caleb Nii Boye via Facebook.
“Fella has packed out of the house, but menners who see her mom and accuse her of doing juju in her in-laws house should stop it. Not cool #calebfeels”
Furthermore, the Media General employee urged Ghanaians to avoid involving Fella Makafui’s mother in the situation, as some speculate that she has been engaging in juju in Medikal’s home, leading to their breakup.
