Hiplife star Joe Frazier has dismissed Okyeame Kwame’s claim that Sarkodie is the best rapper in Ghana.
He expressed his views on the matter following a publication by Graphic Online that ranked Sarkodie as the top Ghanaian rapper of all time, a declaration that caused commotion on social media and the entertainment news landscape.
During an interview at Hitz FM, the veteran rapper, known for his clever wordplay and rhyme scheme, stated that Lord Kenya is the foremost rapper in Ghana, followed by Obrafuor and Reggie Rockstone.
“I disagree that Sarkodie is the greatest rapper of all time, I think I can mention three names; Lord Kenya, Obrafour and Reggie Rockstone,” he said.

“Sarkodie is doing so well in the rap game but sometimes I add the stage performances to it to determine who is the greatest rapper of all time.
He continued “I will never ever forget Lord Kenya when it comes to this rap game and those days, these legends could record albums with both sides of the cassette all having hit songs.
“I disagree with my brother Okyeame Kwame when he says Sarkodie is the greatest rapper of all time even though Sarkodie is doing so well.
He added, “I respect that besides Sarkodie is still relevant so maybe he’ll do more so I think we can wait and see but as it stands now I would go for Lord Kenya, Obrafour or Rockstone”.
