Today, Ghana stands proud at 68 years since gaining independence from colonial rule.

On March 6, 1957, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s historic declaration marked the birth of a sovereign nation, setting the stage for decades of progress, challenges, and resilience.

Over the years, Ghana has become a beacon of democracy in Africa, leading in economic growth, cultural influence, and peace.

From the cocoa farms of the Western Region to the bustling streets of Accra, our nation continues to evolve, embracing technology, education, and entrepreneurship to shape a brighter future.

But beyond the celebrations, today is a moment of reflection. Are we truly fulfilling the dreams of our founding fathers?

Have we done enough to create opportunities for the youth, improve governance, and preserve our rich heritage? As we hoist the red, gold, and green high, these are the questions we must ask ourselves.

Join us as we livestream the 68th Independence Day celebrations, showcasing the pride and unity of our people.

Let’s celebrate Ghana—not just as a country, but as an idea of resilience, hope, and an unbreakable spirit.

Happy Independence Day!
