Hailing from the streets of Ondo State, Cheque, 28, has been on a meteoric rise in the Nigerian music scene since his breakthrough single “Zoom” in 2020, which rapidly became an anthem. With his unique blend of afro-fusion and captivating storytelling, Cheque has solidified his place as one of Nigeria’s brightest musical talents.
‘Chequemate’ presents a collection of six masterfully crafted tracks that effortlessly combine melodious tunes with thought-provoking lyrics, a testament to Cheque’s creativity and versatility as an artiste.
