Accomplished Nigerian singer Iyanya has unveiled his EP titled “Love & Trust,” featuring six emotionally charged tracks.

The artiste, who is currently in Ghana, opened up about his personal life in a revealing interview on Starr Drive with host Foster Aggor. During the conversation, Iyanya expressed regret over his actions in a past relationship with Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson, confessing that he wished he had focused on her instead of resorting to deceit.

In an interview, Iyanya seized the opportunity to address the allegations made against him by Yvonne Nelson in her memoir, ‘I am not Yvonne.’ The book recounts her past relationship with the singer and accuses him of infidelity with Nigerian actress Tonto Dikeh.

“My soul was in Yvonne, I loved her, that’s why I had a tattoo of her name on my wrist. The tattoo was to show I have a piece of her everywhere I go,” he confessed.

“If I was dating her, I will just focus on her. Back then I used to lie to her. Then, it was my career first. Everything came second,” he continued

The EP, ‘Love & Trust,’ showcases Iyanya’s signature blend of captivating melodies and heartfelt lyrics. The EP features Joeboy and Bnxn.

Since the release of Yvonne Nelson’s memoir, Iyanya has faced public scrutiny, with many curious about his side of the story. By taking the opportunity to address the issue openly, he has shown a willingness to confront his past and move forward with transparency and honesty.
