Lilwin and Oboy Siki’s feud is about to escalate further as Lilwin has expressed his intention to have Siki arrested over wild allegations he has been making about him.
This comes in reaction to a controversial statement made by Oboy Siki during an interview, which greatly displeased Lilwin.
Siki had made an unfounded accusation, claiming that one of the female cast members in his recently released film, A Country Called Ghana, secured her role through sexual favours.
Lilwin vehemently denied Siki’s allegation, labelling it as both untrue and malicious. He went on to provide a clear explanation of how Mimi earned her role in the high-budgeted movie.
During a recent interview on Angel FM, Lilwin made it clear that he is prepared to take legal action against Oboy Siki by having him arrested.
“I didn’t not cast Mimi because she exchanged sex with me as Oboy Siki is spreading. Her determination spirit and enthusiasm won her roles in ‘A COUNTRY CALLED GHANA’ movie.
“I don’t joke when it comes to my business and I invested billions of cedis in my movie so it will be very difficult to get a role in my movies if you are not good… so ignore Oboy Siki mischievous propaganda’
“I swear if Oboy Siki steps his foot at the premiering centre, he will be arrested and detained because I have already reported the case to the Ghana Police Service.
“I’m well convinced that Oboy Siki has been paid to spread falsehood about me just to tarnish my image because they couldn’t bring down my stardom but their plans will never work”
“What pains me is that I gave the role Mimi played in ‘A Country Called Ghana’ to one popular actress but she refused to come and I became worried so Mimi confidently came to me and told me that she could do it”, he revealed
“My dream is to bring back the fallen Kumawood Movie Industry to create more employment so I don’t care about what others especially Oboy Siki will do to discourage me. I’m Focused.”
Prior to this incident, Oboy Siki criticized Lilwin’s latest film, claiming it to be of low quality and not living up to the expectations created before its release.
At the moment Oboy Siki expressed his opinion, the movie had not been premiered yet he confidently declared it as a flop. Based on his viewing of the trailer, he firmly believed that the movie’s overall quality did not live up to the excessive hype it had garnered, even with the inclusion of acclaimed actors from Nigeria.
During his appearance on Angel FM, Siki also launched a scathing attack on the director, Fiifi, questioning his competence and labelling him as a foolish director.
Siki believed that Lilwin should have chosen a more skilled director for such a high-budget production, rather than someone like Fiifi, whose abilities he strongly disapproved of.
In conclusion, Siki stated that the movie does not deserve the attention it is receiving and revealed that he has no intention of watching the final product when it is released.
