Ghanaian rapper Lil Shaker has embarked on a new journey, tying the knot with his longtime partner, Racheal Arhin, also celebrated in the entertainment world as Rashelle Blue.
The couple’s wedding took place on November 2, 2024, in a private ceremony in Accra, attended by close family, friends, and prominent figures from Ghana’s music industry, making it a night to remember for both the newlyweds and their guests.
Lil Shaker, a familiar name in Ghana’s hip-hop and hiplife scenes, has built a reputation for his vibrant wordplay and infectious beats. Known for hits like “Madakraa” and “Edawoso,” he’s also gained a strong following as a member of the BBnZ Live music group, alongside celebrated artists like EL and Ko-Jo Cue.
For Lil Shaker, the wedding was a celebration of love but also a merging of two artistic worlds, as his wife, Rashelle Blue, is an accomplished UK-based singer, songwriter, model, and actress who has been steadily building her own fanbase in the Afrobeat and Afropop scenes.
While Rashelle is known for her upbeat tracks like “Hello” and “My Thing,” which have brought her recognition across Europe, her relationship with Shaker has quietly blossomed over the years, with both managing to balance long-distance commitments in their careers and relationship.
The ceremony itself, though private, spoke to the tight-knit nature of Ghana’s creative community. Fellow musicians EL and Joey B, who have shared both professional and personal milestones with Shaker, were there to lend their support.
The two performed impromptu sets of their hit songs, sparking a wave of energy that had the couple and their guests dancing and celebrating well into the night.
