Kumawood star Abraham Davis, better known as Oboy Salinko, has shared inspiring insights about how his journey in Ghana’s movie industry has brought him success and personal growth.

Speaking to Nana Romeo on Accra FM, the actor opened up about how his work has gone beyond the screen to shape his life and investments.

“My journey in the movie industry has been rewarding in ways I never imagined,” Salinko began, his voice filled with appreciation. “Acting has not only put money in my pocket but also allowed me to influence brands and build a reputation that people trust. Some of these brands even have me on their billboards—it’s humbling and empowering.”

For Salinko, success in acting has translated into tangible rewards, including significant property investments. “All the lands I’ve purchased are quite expensive,” he revealed. “I started buying property in Kumasi around 2014 or 2015. We didn’t begin early, but God has been faithful.”

The actor also took a moment to reflect on the mindset that has driven his achievements. “Life is not a competition,” he said. “You should be inspired by others, not consumed by envy. Everyone’s path is different, and staying focused on your own progress is key.”
