King Ayisoba made a strong statement at the Get Fit and Ready walk with John Dramani Mahama at Nungua Town Park, criticizing Nana Akufo-Addo for the current hardships in the country.

During his performance as sighted by GhanaStreetJournal, he cleverly modified his popular song ‘I Want to See You My Father’ to highlight the failures of the current government in Ghana, which have led to increased poverty among citizens.

Ayisoba also took the opportunity to urge the NDC flagbearer to work diligently to gain power and improve the lives of the people.

During the same event, John Dramani Mahama announced that if elected, his administration will implement the National Apprenticeship Scheme to tackle the issue of unemployment in Ghana.

Addressing a large crowd at a rally to present all parliamentary candidates in the Greater Accra region, Mr. Mahama outlined three key policies that he believes will positively impact the country’s future.

Despite the rain, thousands of party members and supporters marched approximately 6 kilometers to gather at the Nungua town park on Saturday, July 20.

He emphasized that providing adequate vocational training for individuals who may not have excelled in traditional schooling will play a crucial role in reducing unemployment, hence the introduction of the National Apprenticeship Scheme.

Mr. Mahama promised to create a Women’s Bank to address the financial requirements of women in business, acknowledging their substantial impact on the economy. He believes that the 24-hour economy will be the catalyst for the country’s development. A

Additionally, Mr. Mahama urged party members to safeguard the ballot at every polling station and guaranteed that his initiatives would be advantageous to all Ghanaians who support the NDC.

In the meantime, he revealed that the party will kick off its campaign for the 2024 election in Tamale on July 27th.
