Renowned music video director TG Omori has made a triumphant return to his craft after months of recovery from a kidney transplant.
Announcing his comeback in his signature bold style, he declared, “Ok, let’s see if I can still rock this b***h.”
Omori, whose real name is ThankGod Omori Jesam, has been a dominant force in Nigeria’s music video industry, crafting visuals for some of the biggest names in Afrobeats.
However, in August 2024, he revealed that he had undergone a kidney transplant at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos. In an emotional revelation, he credited his brother for donating a kidney to save his life.

Despite the challenges of recovery, Omori maintained a strong spirit, reassuring fans that he would return in 2025.
“It’s mind over matter. If the mind is defeated, it’s only a matter of time before the body falls,” he wrote during his healing process.
