Shatta Wale has teased his colleague Sarkodie over his mega feature with the reggae legend Bob Marley and the Wailers on the new version of Stir it Up. 

Wale revealed that for Sarkodie to land this high-profile collab with a ghost like Bob Marley, he deserves to be applauded for achieving this rare feat.

Evidently, the Dancehall artiste was forced to make this comment after Sarkodie’s fans dubbed the Bob Marley feature the biggest in Ghanaian history, even greater than the one he had with Beyonce on the Lion King album.

Meanwhile, the much-anticipated track has been released today, Friday, December 20. Prior to that, this is how the collab was announced on Instagram;

“A special new version of “Stir It Up” is coming THIS FRIDAY featuring Ghanaian 🇬🇭 artist @Sarkodie! Pre-save the track today at link in bio.

An elated Sarkodie responded to the post by saying: “What a way to kick start this year !!! Definitely one of the highest moments in my career/Life… Big shouts to the team at island records @akosuas_ @Jaykjs and the Marley family for getting me on this amazing project by the legend #bobmarley… such a blessing to lay my vocals right next to the original vocals of the Gong…”
