Shatta Wale has offered a gesture of reconciliation to the Dean of Students at the University of Ghana, Legon, following a verbal attack he launched on her.

Shatta Wale performed at the SRC Artiste Night weeks on Saturday, July 20, 2024, weeks after the controversy surrounding his unsuccessful concert at the University, where he accused Stonebwoy of Sabotaging his performance.

In an attempt to plead with the Dean of Students, Professor Rosina Kyeremanten over the unwarranted attacks, the Dancehall artiste said, “I plan to come and visit your Dean of Students. Tell her I will give her thousand kisses. I am a bad boy and I even want to marry her so we make babies”.

Shatta Wale took to social media to attack Stonebwoy and Professor Rosina Kyeremanten over his failed University of Ghana (UG) TF Hostel Artiste Night concert.

A furious Shatta Wale accused Stonebwoy of colluding with the school authorities to stop his show.

Wale was scheduled to perform at James Top Nelson Yankah Hall (TF hostel), while Stonebwoy had a concert planned at Liman Hall, both located within the University of Ghana campus.

However, while Stonebwoy’s show proceeded smoothly, Shatta Wale’s performance was abruptly halted.

Shatta Wale was incensed by this turn of events and accused Stonebwoy of sabotaging him for the second time, following their near clash at the Accra Sports Stadium last year.

However, in a statement clarifying the situation, Wave Africa revealed that the Dean of Students had permitted the event to proceed, on the condition that Shatta Wale did not perform over security reasons.
