In regards to Teebillz’s perspective, it is believed that Naira Marley requires forgiveness in relation to the unfortunate passing of Mohbad.
Despite the fact that Marley has not been detained or convicted by any legal court, there have been allegations made by Nigerians that the Marlian president was involved in Mohbad’s demise. Tunji Balogun, the Nigerian music executive, has expressed that rapper Naira Marley should not be subjected to the cancel culture.
Although he has refuted the accusations, streaming platforms have removed songs by the record label founder and his signees, and some radio stations have ceased playing any music released by any Marlian Music artist.
Teebillz has taken to his Instagram page to address the matter and has urged Nigerians not to cancel the ‘Am I A Yahoo Boy’ artist. He has stated that Naira Marley believed in Mohbad’s music career and invested in it when none of the “after-death advocates of love” did.
Teebillz shared a photo he snapped with the rapper and wrote; “He is Too young too talented to throw under the bus of cancel culture! One of the best writers of the new age! Guilty by association is not a deliberate crime to me…….
I pray ppl forgives Naira Marley off his shortcomings and I hope God gives him a 2nd chance to attain his blessings as a bonified leader and influencer! Just yesterday when everyone and their mama was a glorified Marlian…… Naira believed and invested in Imole’s talent when none of the after death advocates of love did….!!! May our creator bless us where we lack knowledge and wisdom!”
