An emotional video detailing the last moment of South African rapper AKA before his death has been uploaded online.
Multiple reports circulating from verifiable sources online say AKA died after being shot about six times in Durban.
The light-skinned rapper was said to be at a restaurant on Florida Street in Durban when the shooting took place. He was standing outside the Wish Restaurant when he was gunned down in a drive-by shooting.
Although AKA was the intended victim of the murder, another person who was thought to be his bodyguard was also killed.
Essentially, the last moment he shared with his entourage at that particular restaurant shortly before he was murdered has been uploaded online, triggering emotional reactions from his fans around the world.
AKA, born Kiernan Jarryd Forbes was born and raised in Cape Town, Forbes gained recognition after releasing his single “Victory Lap” from his debut studio album, Altar Ego (2010).
