Kwesi Arthur has unveiled his new image characterised by an almost clean-shaven head as opposed to his famous dreadlocks which he incorporated into his musical identity following his sudden burst into the mainstream.

Arthur shocked his fans a few months ago when he parted ways with his trademark dreadlocks after he surprisingly cut them off as depicted in a new photo he shared on Twitter.

The Ghanaian rap artiste, whose monster hit ‘Grind Day’ get a nomination for the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards in 2018 showcased his sense of humour when he held the hair in his hands claiming they are for sale.

Arthur’s dreadlocks have been incorporated into his brand so fans will be anticipating the new image he is going to portray henceforth. The rapper shared a photo of him holding the hair alongside this caption;

Months after he shaved off, Kwesi Arthur shared a photo of how he is going to wield his personality henceforth sparking varied responses from his fans in the process.

A social media user wrote, “Wow this guy is so handsome like this? ?eeeeii wow❤️”. Another fan commented, “Mummy will be happy” while another posted a tweet “Don’t know but I feel Kwesi is going through a lot!”

Other fans were left disappointed with his new look.

“Honestly he doesn’t look good in this. I had preferred the dread look but I’m not him So let me keep my opinion to myself,” another tweep said.

Efia Odo and Kwesi Arthur relationship

Andrea Owusu, also known as Efia Odo is a model, actress, Television show host and socialite. She has now added music to her portfolio. In an interview on GTV’s Breakfast show, she discussed her romance with Tema-based artiste, Kwesi Arthur.

Despite persistent rumours about the love affair, Efia Odo always maintained that she was only a fan of the musician. A change in her opinion of the rapper led her to reveal that she is no longer his number-one fan. She says what happened between them was a very complicated situation.

The way Efia Odo talked about her relationship with Kwesi Arthur made it clear that things had gotten bad between them.

She said “I was the biggest supporter of Kwesi Arthur, you know I don’t like talking bad about people, especially in this situation which is like very sentimental for me because honestly, I feel like every friendship or everything in this life comes to an end.”

“So I guess our friendship or the relationship we had with each other came to an end, it came to a nasty end for me to actually unfollow him on all social media platforms. Even when you play his songs I don’t wanna hear it.”

Many social media users speculated that Kwesi may have broken her heart.
