Kweku Flick has issued a stern warning to fellow rappers, emphasizing that involving his mother in any disputes would result in serious repercussions.
The Kumasi-based artist whose real name is Andy Osei Sarfo, made it clear during an interview on Onua FM that while he welcomes healthy competition in the music industry, he draws the line at disrespect towards his family.
Flick asserted that if anyone dares to cross that boundary, he would not hesitate to confront them physically, ensuring they face the consequences of their actions.
“If you insult me, I will not mind you, but if you extend it to my mom, then you’ve crossed the line. I will come to your house and beat you.
“I don’t want to have troubles with the police, so I will neither injure you nor kill you. But rest assured, I will beat you, I will whip you like a student being disciplined by his teacher,” he said.
Kweku Flick has also provided valuable insights into the impact of fame on his life. He openly acknowledged his rebellious nature during his younger years, but now, as a prominent figure in the public eye, he embraces a sense of responsibility towards his younger fan base.
“Sometimes I’m tempted to revert to my old ways. To be frank, I was very stubborn and even a bully in school. I was a stubborn boy, but fame has changed me.
“I realized that many young people look up to me, which prompted the change,” he said.
