Kwaisey Pee has granted a new interview stressing why he rates Ghanaian musician KiDi above his contemporaries.
The veteran Highlife singer whose real name is Kwasi Poku Addae said everything about KiDi’s professional persona is spot on which is why he is the only Ghanaian artiste he listens to.
“I listen to KiDi; he’s the only musician I pay attention to because of his dressing, music, and the way he handles himself, and he is always on point, which makes me pay attention to him,” he said on GTV Breakfast show in a recent interview.
Kwaisey Pee then sent subtle advice to KiDi and the other artistes representing the new school saying, “You know what, let’s just remix the old masterpieces, and that will work.”
Dennis Nana Dwamena, better known as KiDi is a Ghanaian high-life and Afrobeats singer-songwriter. He is signed to Lynx Entertainment and is best known for his global hit single Touch It. The remix features American rapper Tyga and has received massive streaming across the world.
