Highlife artiste Kwabena Kwabena and renowned gospel artiste Obaapa Christy have teamed up to release a heartfelt new record titled “Fakye Me,” which translates to “Forgive Me.”
Kwabena Kwabena, whose real name is George Kwabena Adu, is well-known for his soulful highlife music that resonates deeply with listeners. Obaapa Christy, on the other hand, is celebrated for her inspiring gospel music that uplifts and inspires her audience. Together, they have created a track that blends the best of both genres, resulting in a powerful and emotional song.
“Fakyeme” is not Kwabena Kwabena’s first foray into gospel music. In 2014, he released “Bue Kwan” featuring Steve Bedi, which made significant waves and was well-received by both circular and gospel music fans. This previous collaboration set the stage for his current partnership with Obaapa Christy, highlighting his versatility as an artist and his ability to transcend musical boundaries.
