Kofi Kinaata expressed his frustration with emerging acts in Takoradi, emphasizing that he does not owe them anything.
He explained that many artists in the region expect him to provide them with opportunities simply because he has achieved success in the mainstream music industry.
Nevertheless, Kofi Kinaata firmly believes that this sense of entitlement is unwarranted, as he does not owe anyone any form of support.
Instead, he encourages these emerging acts to concentrate on honing their craft and giving their best in their respective endeavours.
“I don’t like the sense of entitlement from some of my colleagues in Takoradi seeking for support. Even in Accra there is no music industry or proper structure. We are all making songs hoping for a hit song so just do yours,” he told Amansan Krakye on Property FM.
Kofi Kinaata was in the news recently when he humorously discusses how to cope with a broken heart.

According to a video from Tru News Report, Kofi Kinaata suggested that time is the best remedy for someone experiencing emotional turmoil.
He emphasized the importance of eating early in the morning, as the appetite may diminish over time.
The talented rapper, who has won the TGMAs Songwriter of the Year award three times in a row, also mentioned that when the mind starts playing tricks on the affected individual, it is time that will ultimately heal the situation.
