Kofi Jamar’s Post About Artistes Being Used And Dumped Evokes Fiery Response From Fantana’s Manager

Rapper Kofi Jamar recently expressed his frustration on Facebook regarding the treatment of artists in the industry.

He observed that when an artist is riding high with consecutive hit songs, they are celebrated by everyone.

However, once their popularity fades, they are quickly forgotten and discarded without any hesitation. This has been a source of great concern for Jamar.

He also pointed out that the media has not been fair to him lately, as he feels overlooked despite his previous success with one of the biggest songs in Ghana. He posted:

HONESTLY IT’S SAD HOW MOST PEOPLE IN THE GHANAIAN MUSIC AND MEDIA FRATERNITY RELIES ON USING ARTISTS WHEN THEY ARE HOT THEN DUMPING THEM WHEN THEY ARE NOT HOT AT THE MOMENT.

I KNOW HOW IT WAS WHEN I HAD ONE OF THE BIGGEST SONG IN THE COUNTRY, AND THE FAVORS I DID FOR PEOPLE

However, Alexander Fiifi Abekah, also known as Xerda, a well-known production manager and road manager for musician Fantana, has responded to Jamar’s comments by reminding him of his past arrogance when he was in the mainstream.

Xerda specifically mentioned a recent incident where Jamar allegedly disrespected Nana Lion, a renowned radio presenter and host of Pluzz FM’s drive-time show, during a scheduled interview.

Xerda emphasized that the interview was planned in advance and not a spontaneous encounter.

He accused Jamar of arriving late and disregarding the agreed-upon time, which not only showed disrespect towards Nana Lion but also towards his radio show and its producer.

Xerda posted:

You disrespected Nana Lion, his radio show and his producer today when you were called for an interview. This is a planned interview and not an impromptu one.

You were given a time to report, you came there at the time which you felt was okay for you. Should the media also come out and talk about how artiste treat them, you think we will all be able to stay in this industry? flips groundnut into the air
