In the face of unsettling predictions, Kofi Gabs, a Ghanaian socialite and vocal commentator based in Holland, has come to Black Sherif’s defence following a controversial prophecy from Prophet Oja.
The preacher, during a New Year’s Eve service, claimed that the young star’s career would dwindle in 2025 due to alleged spiritual interference orchestrated by his peers in the music industry.
Prophet Oja’s grim forecast stirred discussions among fans and critics alike, with some expressing concern for the award-winning artist. However, Gabs dismissed the prophecy as baseless.
“Black Sherif shouldn’t waste a second worrying about Oja’s words. That man thrives on fear and sensationalism,” Gabs stated in a video.
“Where were these so-called prophets when Sherif was struggling to find his footing in the music industry? Not a single one of them predicted his meteoric rise, yet here they are, ready to predict his downfall.”
Gabs argued that such prophecies often come from individuals seeking attention and financial gain rather than genuine spiritual insight.
He highlighted the absurdity of the claims, noting that Black Sherif’s voice allegedly being “spiritually replaced” was nothing more than a fear-mongering tactic.
To reassure the young artist and his fans, Gabs referenced scriptures that emphasize divine protection and the futility of malevolent plans against those destined for greatness.
“Black Sherif is under God’s guidance, and no amount of spiritual manipulation can change that,” Gabs added. “He will keep making hits. This prophecy? It’s nonsense.”
