In a fresh update from Afia Pokua, also known as Vim Lady, the situation surrounding Kofi Adomah’s shooting incident has taken a more positive turn.
The Ghanaian journalist, who according to a previous report was said to have been shot while covering a traditional event in Dormaa, is now stable and responding to treatment.
Vim Lady shared the good news on her social media, thanking everyone for their prayers and support and clarifying that he was not shot but had some pellets hitting his face while on duty at the event.
“Bless you for all your prayers. Kofi Adomah is stable. He was hit by pellets from shots fired during a traditional event at Dormaa while working. Glory to God for his mercies.”
The incident occurred while Kofi was on duty, gathering footage at the traditional ceremony in Dormaa.
Shots were fired during the event, and Kofi found himself in the line of fire, suffering injuries from pellets. Thankfully, his condition is not life-threatening, and he is currently receiving treatment.
Vim Lady, a close friend and colleague of Kofi, is encouraging everyone to continue their prayers for his swift recovery. “Continue to send your prayers up to the heavens AAAAAAA. God remains on the throne,” she wrote, expressing her heartfelt gratitude for the support.
