Afrobeats sensation Kizz Daniel has fired back at a fan who drew an unflattering comparison between him and fellow artist Wizkid.
The fan’s comment, shared on X (formerly Twitter), seemingly downplayed the significance of Kizz Daniel’s music in favour of Wizkid’s upcoming album.
The fan’s post read: “Wizkid tracklist release fit swallow your album sha. I for talk say hold on oh.” This implied that Kizz Daniel’s work might pale in comparison to Wizkid’s anticipated project, a sentiment that didn’t sit well with the “Buga” hitmaker.
In response, Kizz Daniel delivered a fiery clapback: “My dear, your brain is very close to your ashole. Ain’t nobody give a f***.

It’s supposed to be fun of music, not war of music.”* His statement not only expressed his frustration but also highlighted the need for a more positive and inclusive attitude toward musical achievements in the industry.
The incident has since sparked conversations among fans, with many debating the fairness of constant comparisons in the music world.
While some sided with Kizz Daniel, applauding his boldness, others argued that the fan’s comment was just banter typical of music lovers engaging in friendly rivalries.
Kizz Daniel, known for hits like “Cough (Odo)” and “Lie,” has often emphasized the importance of enjoying music without unnecessary competition.
Similarly, Wizkid, one of Afrobeats’ global icons, has long advocated for unity within the industry.
Both artists are celebrated for their unique contributions, making comparisons a point of contention among their fanbases.
