King Promise, Black Sherif, OlivetheBoy, and other Ghanaian musicians whose music continues to connect with audiences have been included in Spotify’s 2024 Global Impact List.
King Promise in particular topped the list which highlights the top 30 tracks from Ghana that have made a significant impact on the global stage in the first half of 2024.
This prestigious list celebrates Ghanaian artists whose tracks have resonated with listeners worldwide, garnering the most streams outside of Ghana between January 1 and June 30.
King Promise has made a mark with multiple tracks featured on the list, demonstrating his global appeal.
“King Promise’s smash hit “Paris” has emerged as Ghana’s most beloved international sensation, captivating listeners with its good melody and soulful lyrics.
His partnerships, such as the track “Favourite Story” featuring Olivetheboy and Sarkodie, and “Oh My Days” alongside Haile and Smallgod, have cemented his status as a prominent figure in the world of music.
Additionally, his collaboration with Shallipopi on “Continental” demonstrated his skill in blending Ghanaian beats with various musical genres.
The lineup also showcases the rise of up-and-coming artists, with Olivetheboy’s “Asylum” and Lasmid’s “Puul” bringing fresh voices that are leaving a mark on the international music stage.
