Following the viral success of a video showcasing a Catholic pastor leading his congregation to sing King Paluta’s Aseda, another video is now capturing attention.
This latest clip features a lively group of men and women enthusiastically performing King Paluta’s popular song Makoma within a church setting.
Per the content of the video, a young man took the lead, energetically singing and moving around the church, while the congregation, composed of both young men and women, joined in to sing the chorus.
The church’s identity and location remain undisclosed.
After spotting the video initially posted by Twitter user EDHUB, King Paluta shared it on his social media.
He then humorously noted that he did not expect any apologies regarding this performance, in contrast to the earlier incident where the pastor issued an apology after being reprimanded by his superior.
King Paluta posted, “Make nobody write apology letter come again o.”
Recall that Rev. Father Peter Kusi Twumasi, the acting Rector of St. Stephen Rectorate in Bodomase, expressed sincere regret for incorporating King Paluta’s Aseda into the church service.
Following the video’s widespread circulation and the ensuing debate, Rev. Father Twumasi reached out to the church leadership to apologize for his actions.
He acknowledged that he became overwhelmed and allowed a secular song to intrude upon the sacred environment.
In his apology letter, he emphasized that he never intended to undermine the traditions of the Church.
King Paluta is undoubtedly the most popular artist right now, with his tracks “Aseda” and “Makoma” leading the charts and enjoying extensive airplay nationwide.
