KiDi has informed Doreen Avio of Joy Prime that the allegations regarding his suffering from a stroke last year are false.
The speculation arose after the artist, who had numerous plans for the year, including tours in the United States and other nations, cancelled his tour and issued a statement indicating he was unwell.
During the interview, KiDi acknowledged experiencing health issues but clarified that they were not serious and had no connection to the stroke rumours that circulated.
Debunking the speculations, KiDi stated they were untrue adding that there were issues that required him to take a break.
“There were issues that required me to take a step back, take a break and fix and deal with them. Few health issues but it wasn’t what people said it was. It has nothing to do with stroke. I didn’t get a stroke and don’t why and how it started but I never had get a stroke. If I had a stroke, I wouldn’t be here,” he said.
Beyond that, KiDi praised his colleague Black Sherif during the same interview, highlighting the excitement that Ghanaians have generated around him.
The two artists recently collaborated on the track “Lomo Lomo,” which is steadily gaining traction on digital platforms.
KiDi expressed his admiration for Black Sherif’s contribution, noting the remarkable energy he brought to the project, which reflects his creativity and rising status in the music industry.
